Socrate in love

Article written by Nelly Perlade for Socrate in Love

One morning, we wake up and hear a little voice saying that it would be good to change, take a step back, see differently, look elsewhere… We do not know what we should change exactly, we do not know how to do it, but we constantly feel that it is the good time to act, to react. So we sit, we reflect.

A solo expedition

We first of all tell ourself that it would be good to call our family, our close ones, our friends… Then, not. Asking them for advice is a way

of avoiding the obstacle. However, to change, to move forward, to find the right course, is a challenge that seems like a solo expedition.
Then, it is the immediate embarkation on an adventure of which we do not know any outlines. This is the start of all the questions :
What should we change? Our life? Our work? Our routines? Our place of life? What do we want to do? Where? How? Whom with?

To set off, to launch yourself…

Suddenly, the horizon clears up. The doubt ends. Give way to the obvious. We know we should listen to ourself, dare, try, set off, launch ourself. Otherwise, we risk seeing our life pass by, slip by, flash by, without having the time to live it fully, as per our wish. Without having time to get carried away, get excited, give life to our desires.
The important thing is to do, undo and even redo if necessary, to get as close as possible, as close as possible to what we believe. To be, to be reborn,
to no longer come out, but to appear, to reveal yourself, to be oneself, finally oneself.

The nearest way to glory is to strive to be what you wish to be thought to be. Socrate
